Perfect for the skatepark, the Chaya Park Dark Soul Roller Skates have a high-heel design. High-heel skates improve balance, allowing skaters to stand completely upright without having to have their knees overly bent or shoulders too far forward, providing better balance, especially when skaters are performing high-speed maneuvers and landing big airs in the skatepark.

Crafted with precision and style, the Chaya Park Dark Soul Roller Skates feature luxurious suede-finished PU leather that looks amazing and provides exceptional durability. Roller skating in the skatepark can be intense, so Chaya incorporated a TPU welded toe to protect the boot from marks and scratches. Skate with confidence knowing your boots are shielded from impacts, allowing you to focus on your tricks and pushing your limits.

To ensure skaters have optimal stability and control, the Chaya Park Dark Soul Roller Skates come complete with a Shari plate and Park Pro forged trucks. The 136mm trucks make it easy to lock on coping and rails; the truck has an offset hanger shape that protects the kingpins and is perfectly suited for grinding.

The Park Dark Soul also comes with the new Diamond slider, designed specifically for frontside and backside tricks. Its unique design provides excellent slide control, giving you the freedom to express yourself on the ramp like never before. And to help you master new grinds even further, the Park Dark Soul skates boast a nice groove, making it easier to learn and master unity, royals, and backslides. Chaya Melrose Roller Skates Sizing Chart

According to Chaya, the Melrose boot runs true to the shoe size. Moreover, boots tend to run average in width.

These skates are manufactured in European sizes (EU), so your US / UK sizing could be misleading due to conversion inaccuracies. Furthermore, even if you know your European sizing, every shoe and skate manufacturer has a slightly different fit and sizing, therefore your standard shoe size might not assure a perfect fit but that is the best way to estimate your skate size.

Based on our experience, the best way to determine your skate size is to take a look at your current pair of inline/roller skates and/or running shoe labels for MM / CM / MP / MONDO numbers. These numbers indicate the maximum foot length that will fit into the pair, while MM shows the measurement in millimeters and CM/MP/MONDO is centimeters. Having these numbers along with the EU sizes from these shoes, you will be able to determine the size of the skates that you need by looking into the sizing chart below.

Important: measuring your feet to determine your skate size would be a good point of reference, but at the same time it leads to too many mistakes. If after following the instructions above you are finding yourself stuck between two sizes, you could measure your feet according to the directions posted in our Sizing Instructions. Note: Your athletic shoe size is the defining factor! Rarely, the size of the inline skates will be smaller than your shoe size (unlike ice skates) unless you require maximum control and do not care much about comfort. If your foot is wider than average, please go one size up than your shoe size.
